Pole vaulting success for Sidcot School
Sidcot School student took first place at a regional pole vault competition.

Lower Fourth student at Sidcot School, Nyree Perry, attended a pole vault competition on Sunday 6 January. She traveled to Cardiff for the South West England Regional Pole Vaulting Championships.
All her training paid off and she took first place. Nyree is now South West Regional Champion in her age category. Her finishing height was 3.01 metres.
Since then, Nyree’s coach has selected her to compete in the England Championships. These take place in Sheffield at the end of February.
Well done Nyree, we’re all incredibly proud of you!
