Welcome to Sibford School.
Established in 1842 as a co-educational boarding school for the children of Quaker families, Sibford School is set in more than 50 acres of grounds surrounded by glorious Oxfordshire countryside.
Over the years the school has undergone many changes and developments, as it has adapted to meet the needs and aspirations of its pupils. However, there is one factor that has remained constant … our Quaker values which recognise that of God in everyone. Translated into everyday life, this means valuing and nurturing individual talents, respecting each other, and helping each individual to become the very best they possibly can.
Today Sibford School accommodates both boarders and day pupils, of all faiths and none, and is currently home to more than 440 pupils aged between 3 and 18
Sibford is an academically strong school, achieving excellent results at GCSE, AS and A Level, and aims to cultivate a thirst for life-long learning. We are also passionate about the long-term mental health and emotional well-being of our pupils. At junior level, this means giving them space and time to enjoy their childhood. And, as they get older, it means helping them to become rounded, community minded, confident and respectful young people ready and able to meet the challenges of the 21st century.
